Rätt spännade program för en ciklidist i Århus veckan innan championatet.
I hereby announce Aalborg Aquarium Club’s yearly Symposium. These year we have 5 lecture holdere with a total of 9 lectures ( all the lectures will be in English ).
The Symposium will be held in a scout hut ( Flamstedcentret, http://www.flamstedcentret.dk/ ). The Symposium starts at 18.30 on Fridag d. 1th of April, where we start with something to eat and afterwards our first lectures will bee held. The rest of the evening are at you plesure …
On Suturday there will be 5 or 6 lectures, depending on time of lectures incl. time fore question. Off course breakfast, lunck and dinner will be served through the day.
On Sunday there will be at least 1 lecture ( depending on time Saturday ) and off cource breakfast and lunch.
The total cost to participate are 850,00 dkr ( all incl. sleeping possibility ( bring sleeping bag ), food, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine during the Symposium ).
These year we succed’ed to have Eric Hustinx from hustinx-aquaristiek.com to do 2 lectures. He will do lecture’s about
Wild discus” with the general information and a small preview of the discus catch at Japurã and “Discus selection in Cuipeuã, Amanã and Maracanã”.. It includes pictures and information of 3 catching locations like: Cuipeuã (Curipera - Alenquer) + Lago Amanã (Mamirauã - Téfé) + Lago Maracanhã (Nhamundã).
He will altso tell about the way he treat newly arrived fish from Manaus ( in general ), and offcource there will be plenty of time to ask questions.
The 2th. lecture holder are Frank Schäfer fra Aquarium Glaser ( he has written a lot of Aqualog books ), the lectures are not yet decided..
The 3th. lecture holder are Erwind Schrammel ( works with Frank ), he will do a lecture about East African river cichlids and a lecture not yet decided.
The 4th. Jecture holder are Claus Christensen ( former director of Tropica ), he will do 2 lectures about plants.
And finaly the 5th lecture holder are Klaus Christiansen ( he’s a Vet ), he will do lectures about Autopsy and laboratory studies on fish hobby, hereby
