#17. I have about 10 left. They are still very small, and i am surprised by the slow grow-rate they show. The fry i have from my victorian cichlids grow 5 times faster it seems. Positive it is, that i have had no deaths the last weeks, so hopefully these last 10 will survive.
By the way - the parents are looking ready to spawn again anytime soon.
Thanks for the response Bobtail, and that's interesting, read somewhere that the growth was quick from start but got a bit slower after 5 cm or something, but there are always variations I guess. I sure hope the 10 youngsters survives to become adults
Be careful when speaking. You create the world around you with your words.
Here they are, breeding again. Note how the male changes color from normal, back into breeding-dress when he comes near the fry in the middle of the video 1.41 - 1.54... Looks cool.
Merry christmas Sweden.
That’s a great video right there!! This fish is so damn beautiful and special to me, it’s always been like a dream for me to have them one day. And yes he switches colors like a Chameleon there
I wish you the very best Merry Christmas Bobtail and thanks for the video.
